“An increase in cases is not unexpected,” said the department in a statement. “The Public Health Department will continue to identify anyone who has come into contact with these cases. The department will also be conducting community surveillance to determine the extent of possible disease spread in our community.”

As a reminder, the Public Health Department wanted to remind everyone that individuals and organizations need to take action to help slow down the spread of coronavirus. For individuals, the recommendations are simple, but very important:

Last Thursday, Rep. Ro Khanna outlined on Twitter his plan for what he thinks should be California and the Country’s response to the growing amount of coronavirus cases.

“This is the time to mobilize science and tackle the Coronavirus,” said Khanna on Twitter. “If the President won’t offer a comprehensive plan, the House must lead.”
