Vegetarian Saturday with Chef Laura Stec: Saturday, Jan. 7th, 10:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.- Chef Laura is back to teach you and your family how to incorporate more vegetables in your diet. She was a vegetarian for more than a decade and comes with lots of experience on how to get you and your family eating more vegetables. 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.: Vegetarian Snack Attack for Families, 12 – 1 p.m.: Vegetarian Meals. Lion Dance for Chinese New Year: Sunday, Jan. 8th, 1:30 – 2:00 p.m.- Please come enjoy Buu Kim Tu Dragon and Lion Association’s (www.buukimtu.com) astounding performance with colorfully adorned lions and lively sounds of cymbals, gong and mighty drum. The Lion Dance will kick off a number of other Chinese New Year events throughout the day on Jan. 8th. Please visit the events calendar to see what other exciting programs are happening. Crystal Children’s Choir Performance: Sunday, Jan. 8th, 2:15 – 2:45 p.m.- Crystal Children’s Choir (http://crystalchoir.org) was founded in the San Francisco Bay Area in 1994. Since then, it has grown into a 1,000-member organization. The choir’s mission is to strive for choral music and excellence by providing choral music education to children and blending the best of Eastern and Western musical traditions. Please come join us for these adorable youngsters’ singing performance.
