Robbery at Great America Confused as an Active Shooter

Last Friday night, there was a strong-arm robbery at California's Great America, which was confused as an active shooter situation.

A strong-arm robbery occurred at California’s Great America theme park in Santa Clara on the night of Saturday, Oct. 26 around 10:45 p.m. In the confusion, it was believed shots had been fired and that there was an active shooter, according to the Santa Clara Police Department.

However, at 11:30 p.m. the police confirmed that no shots were fired and that it was, in fact, a strong-arm robbery.
